First impressions
The rabbit’s character appeared when I pinned the ears at slightly different angles. Before that it was a collection of lavender shapes on the table. I photographed the arrangement so that I could compare two versions without repeatedly unpinning everything.
Notes from the process
For this sample project I chose cotton yarn, a hook appropriate to the yarn label, a stitch marker, stuffing, and a tapestry needle. The eyes are embroidered rather than represented by loose decorative beads. This page describes a display prototype; it is not a tested toy pattern or a claim of suitability for children.
The next page
I would record the round counts and yarn quantities during a second prototype before sharing instructions. For now, the useful process notes are about even tension, taking breaks, and checking the silhouette before joining the pieces. The lavender rabbit image is a digital illustration.
